The private sector by this time was aware of the domestic violence, drug abuse, divorce and depression cases acting as major negatives, affecting the job performance of the employee in the company. The year 1970’s, witnessed significant changes in the Employee Assistance Programs, the major being a focus in the shift from alcohol addiction to identifying employees impaired productivity and behavior.
